Have you ever wondered why some leaves change colour during Autumn? Or why some leaves stay green? Or what happens to leaves after they fall off the trees? Come and find out at Science Time: Autumn. In this session, children and their caregivers will investigate different leaves and explore how leaves change colour. Children will be able to explore composting creatures like worms and make a terrarium with seeds to take home

Topic 2: Sun and Moon (11 June – 22 June) Tickets on sale Friday 31 May 2024

Have you ever wondered why the moon looks like it is a different shape when it is full compared to a half-moon? Or where the sun goes during the night? Or why you can sometimes see the moon during the daytime? Come and find out at Science Time: Sun and Moon. In this session, children and their caregivers will explore how the Earth, Sun and Moon interact together and investigate the different phases of the moon. Children will discover how to create their own moon calendar and make moon themed craft to take home.
